New Economy Cycle headlight bucket and bulb assembly installed.
Headlight has been out on the Girly Bike since the Gap. Finally got the new one installed yesterday, what a PITA. Rode for an hour and it still works so I am gonna take it the 61 miles one way to Dulles tonight(and hopefully back). Wish me luck!!

Are you running the 35 watt H4 or incandescent?

That sounds like fun and an adventure Tim! 8-) Hope the light shines bright for you. John's 73 stocker looked like a Ray o Vac flashlight back on that bug night run back from Robbinsville years ago. I inadvertantly ran away from the group when on my ZRX with the big square light and 100w high beam. :shh: :shifty:

Dayum Tim,
That's a gutsy ride considering the speed, distance, and drivers on those roads; especially on a little bike.
Not so sure I want to take my good running H2 there :?

At work now. Bike ran great. Headlight not so good. 35W from Economy Cycle. Killed the low beam side 20 minutes at 80 MPH. A friend went to Wally World and got me 2 spare bulbs. I am sure they will be too high a wattage on high beam. I can run all the way home on low beam if it will hold up. Don't know WTF is killing the bulbs. Killed 2 factory headlights already. It was charging 12.9 At 5500 Last night? New bucket rubber mounted as was the old one???.

H4 that came in the bucket from Economy. If it does it again; I will buy a Z1 headlight bucket and put a 2DQ truck bulb in it. I have never been able to make a halogen live in a. 2 Stroke.

The Phoenix did the same thing. The 2D1 truck bulb fixed it and the same one has been in it since 04. Z1 Enterprises and Repro Decals offer the bucket assembly cheap with the adapter for the truck bulb.
