Just an update on Speedhut.

I received an earnest reply yesterday with the instructions to send it back and they would "make it right". So far, they have had excellent customer service.
I did let them know that the fact the designed sample and the actual product were so completely different is very misleading and that there needs to be a disclaimer notifying people of the difference in quality of the final printed gauge face.
She (Jessica) also said that she has found it "impossible" on her end to replicate my original "two-tone" Peacock Gray stripe/kawasaki logo.

and that SUCKS! as this was the whole point of this gauge....to tie completely in with the rest of the bikes' colors. We're working on that now.

The obvious solution is to paint the bike to match the speedometer and get RB to make you a set of blurry decals.

Blurry letters???
From my limited knowledge of decals, this is the worst possible scenario!
I make the files up quite often for replacement machine nameplates and none of the companies I deal with would ever accept anything but vector files for this reason. If not, they trace the raster file to create the vector file.
They might be nice on the phone but if I were you, I'd consider them a company who doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground... It's not a quality issue, it's simply the wrong process that would give you those results.
I've created very large raster files that are not blurry to the eye when printed but still not good enough for a printer worth his salt.

In this case, I believe it is a printer issue more than a file issue. I just think that the ink "ran" when it was being printed..That, and whomever was assembling the gauge is legally blind... or doesn't give a crap... or both.

Cody, is it just the speedometer that uses GPS, or does the tach use it too?

Ok, I was referring to your photo... You said it was a good quality photo and the fuzziness was the decal..

It has to do with the Coriolis effect.
