Rick, I'll play it by ear, but if the course is so busy that I need a reservation this early I don't want to plan on it. The weather report looks somewhat wet for Tuesday and Wednesday, and if that really happens and I lose part of those days to bad weather I don't want to take half of a good day for golf.

What is golf? I've heard of it.

It's a very old game. It came out of boredom watching grass grow. It made it a bit more interesting by hitting a ball with a stick so you can have different views of grass growing. I think it is now tied with checkers and shuffleboard for excitement factor in the majority of old folks homes.........

The real excitement factor comes from hiding in the bushes with hi powered paint ball guns.........

It is better to go to the Gap and play golf than not to go to the Gap at all.

It is better to go to the Gap and sip suds than play golf.

Sipping suds and playing golf are not mutually exclusive.

That might be good to keep from spilling a glass of rum. For beer on the golf course, I just take a cooler full of it. It doesn't hurt my score, since it's already about as bad as a score can get, and toward the end of the round, I no longer care.
