Hey guys, whats your opinion on this S1 cafe? Leading edge rat bike, or shade tree hack job? I have nothing invested in this bike or the company, but would like to know the expert's opinions!

I like it as far as bare-bones $100.00 rattlecan "restos" go. Has a nice stance and black bikes usually look cool.

It needs chambers, a hot S2 top end, disc brake front end and some tires and it would then actually be fun to ride. As it sits, a guy would get bored with the 20 odd horsepower pretty quick.

Too bad about the premix. If you have room to carry a bottle of oil, you could hide an oil tank there and save a lot of grief.

I think it looks cool, but chambers, real brakes and some horsepower would be nice.

Plus I recently saw a video that explained that café racers should be Hondas.

Geeze, I'm putting together a RD special and now it just seems cookie cutter:(. Gonna have to lean harder on the TD TZ cues to keep it from being completely cheesy and contrived. A triple that runs is cool. That means we can still save it  !
