I love the superbike bars on my 72 H2.

Going from stock to superbike bars isn't going to change how the bike handles.

Well, I'm no expert, but in my case, I felt a big difference. I felt like I could hardly make it through the Gap (the year I put stock bars on) compared to having the lower bars. However, it could be related to me sitting a little further back in the seat with the higher bars. With the superbike bars and sitting close to the tank, the bike handles well. I switched back as soon as I got home.

i have to agree. it does because it changes the weight bias. def loads the front end more.

If you can pick up a set of laverda bars, like these - http://www.motorcycle-parts.com.au/Jota_Bars.htm you can try a variety of bends. Bit pricey these days.

This bike came with clubmans and I replaced them with black clubmans when I redid it, so I don't know what "bucko" or similar bars would be like. It just feels like the right balance for this bike to get over the front more. Sitting on the bike in the driveway, it feels extreme if you've never had these before. Underway, it doesn't feel too low and it provides great balance against the wind.
