If it's just a phenolic ring, does it really seal anything? And if does, wouldnt using a run of the mill round o ring that just really slows fluid travel be acceptable? It doesnt need to be a tight seal.

Also I notice on the valve emulator knock-offs that they are for 35mm forks, H2s, Z1s etc are 36mm, would those work?

Though I lack the machining skills (and lathe of oxford), I went ahead and ordered a set of the emulators from http://www.mikesxs.net/product/27-1086.html, and will make them work. For the price $57.50 USD Pr, you can't beat it! I will likely still purchase a pair of Race Tech's springs to mate with these in the end.

I put Racetech springs on my H2 with Gold Valves.....and a 22mm PVC preload spacer......175cc of 15w oil.......very pleased with them :thumbup:
