She's Alive !

Got 100 miles on it now, went out this morning and did 20 miles at 32 degrees F........cold but still fun.

I will post sometime more details and thank all of the people that helped and did work on this project in my next post and could not have done it without all of you !!!
Got the Moo Stage 1 ports and Wossners, VM 34's with UFO's, Jim's new CDI box, 520 X-ring chain system, EX brake and MC, EX clutch perch, Don's gauges, everthing repainted, all new bearings and rubber, new swingarm bushings, racetech springs and gold valves, new Excel rims and fat BT45V tires.

The bike really handles good and is so much different than it was before that it's hard to describe, really tight and straight as an arrow, and the Motor really came to life with the Moo port's, FBG pipes, Iggy and the Big carbs.

Thank You All So Very Much !!! :D

Mike.......A few upgrades make a huge difference and well worth it, I never was too much into stock stuff (though that's were the moneys at), always have to tweak things a bit.......if you need any info let me know

Moo......the bike really rip's, quite a boost in performance from idle all the way up, still getting some miles on it before I really let it rip up high. I put one set leaner needle jets in it this winter (same as Ron has) as it was a bit rich last year, loves this cold weather, probably gonna be on the rich side when it warms up.

Guts......I was showing my Buddy's your B8 last night, they about flipped their lid, that thing is perfect !

THX Phil

Revised.....the motor is built and the bike has 94 miles on it now, lot less vibration with the new Charlie Top of line Crank, The Mark at R&D Motorsports undercut transmission is perfect, just clicks into gear and the modified shift claw won't allow it to overshift, the 15 plate clutch with Ralfs release (moved the clevis back 7mm) no longer drags, and the Tim Steele Bead blasting is very nice.....also, Thanks to Cody for the engine cases and Larry Smith for the Trans bearings and clutch parts :D and all of you for the good advice and help, plus the Jim Shreve and Moo Videos

THX Phil

I am just about done with my H2B engine rebuild......the bike was done last winter.......I did the topend last winter as well......planned on doing the crank and trans this wnter, but bad shift forks, had to take it down after mid ohio.........after having it apart (my experience anyway)........you don't know what you will find.......4 of my 6 crank bearings were wasted, shift forks wasted and caused a crack in the engine cases.......I went a bit overboard and tried to do everything upgraded and top notch.......here is a ball park for my build.

Wossner pistons and pin kit (the best) $380
Bored and stage 1 port by Moo....$760
Rebuilt Crank Charlie, new IMS Rods, KOYO Bearings, LAB seals $760
Undercut and shimmed trans, modified shift claw by Mark at R&D $1228
New trans 5th gear $189
Redone shift fork swissclassibikes......$380
Engine case (1 spare).......$700
New Trans KOYO and clutch bearings, Redline + clutch parts....$240
Ralf's clutch release....$190
Bead Blasting cyl and cases (Tim Steele).......$300
NORSTEK seals........$50
Vesrah gaskets......$40
New VM34-168 with UFO from niche +new manifolds......$1000
Early 3 line oiling system with Brass checkvalves........$250
Jim's CDI if that counts (can't recall the price).........$260
Polished Side covers from Mtal Brite in Dayton........$200

Holy Crap....$6547.......Choke.......over 6k ........ does not include a lot for shipping, materials and time

With the Moo and Darth Videos and the MAXRL site, a lot of studying, not that hard to do yourself

Depends on what you want to do or what it needs
