Very nice work man!!! It was good your H1B was complete, down to the LH battery cover, and decent(?) seat? Great progress, and I'm guessing you will meet up with some of the board guys at Deals Gap coming up soon?

Not only is that the preferred way to get extra cash for triple projects, but it keeps her from seeing you put engine parts in the dishwasher!

Yea that is the plan. I missed the Gap last year due to a family event but hope to be there with this bike come May.

Some pics of the paint that I will pick up this afternoon. Fellow CT Rambler Larry Kilgore did a fantastic job. Larry rides Orange off road too and likes the color.

I always get so jealous when I'm watching these threads and it gets to the stage where painted bodywork is being finished. That looks amazing.

OK, you're in for the cabin if you want. Spoke to Adam just after you did yesterday. He sounds like he may show up in some form and time. I'll give you a call later.

This was one of those weekends where a lot got done but there just didn't seem to be enough time. This is my favorite part of a project, when it all starts coming together. You don't want to leave the shop. First up are pics of where the bike is at. Fenders are mounted, tail light on, meters and bars on, front brake almost complete, more on that in a sec.

I really can't bitch about set backs on this project so something had to be expected. After getting all the front brake components together, and this is the bitch, BLED! I saw this under the caliper. As I was telling a friend, if you don't like doing things more than once, and sometimes a few times, restoring old bikes may not be for you. The original kit I used to rebuild the caliper was Kawasaki components. I have ordered another brand and will try again. When I tore it apart there was no obvious seal tear or anything.
