Resealed oil pump and clutch cover reinstalled, hopefully I will find no leaks in the AM, when work will continue. I also hooked up the new oil tank feed line and bled the pump.

Refilling the trans and oil tank: BTW that is Blue Marble in the Mobil 1 bottle

Still have more disassembly to do, wheels have to come off, spokes have to be cleaned of rust and the new BT45s installed.
Happy Easter everyone!!!

Update: Today's shop time was divided between disassembling a bent hyd cylinder from my grading blade that got damaged when it hit a stump, changed the oil and filter on #1 son's car and some good work on the Girly Bike. Thanks to Mark Haase for his help and advice today. I spent the majority of the afternoon with the dremel and a carbide brush cleaning up the rusty front wheel spokes, and have them looking fairly decent. The rears will get a cleaning tomorrow and then the wheels are coming off to go to the bike shop on Tuesday or Wednesday to get the BT 45s installed. No leaks noted after resealing the oil pump and side cover. Oil lines have been primed. All in all a good shop day.

My granddaughters says you'd better hurry up Mr Steele :!:These are Ben's girls. Doesn't look like he will make DG again this year. He will be at the National Fire Instructors Conference in Indy :( He sure hates to miss being around all you old guys ;) Last year one of his fellow firefighters was talking to Ben about his trip to DG and showed Ben a picture of some old two strokes bikes and all the Mini Coopers that was there. Ben said to him you ain't going to belief this but my dad was one of guys with the 2S's and he was there.

I love BT45s. The chain and sprockets are supposed to be here today. Then I can put the ass end together. Still sick, but on the mend, coffee is brewing and after a little breakfast, I will be in the shop. I have plenty to keep me busy till the mail runs.

Yeaterday was a good shop day:
Chain and sprockets arrived at 1200 hrs I assembled everything and ran it down the road at 1700. I added 1 oz of oil to the forks per the Haase to stop the front end dive and firm things up a bit. The Girly Bike is a pleasure to ride with the new BT45s, handling is superb. Wheelies were pulled.. effortlessly :D :D . Tach from parts bike installed as the original has died an untimely death. I pinched the ground side of the neutral light wire installing the tach and had to abort the maiden voyage when I realized the neutral light wouldn't go out. So back to the shop I went to pull the tach off and I taped up the nick in the ground wire. I love the Moto Carrerra chambers. Carburetion is linear and at 7000 things start happening quick. 9000 is the shift point. 15/39 gearing is perfect for this combination. I only have a couple of small issues to deal with and Project RD will be ready for DG 13 :D :D I installed the LH chamber spacers wrong and the sidestand is striking the chamber. I also have to clean it up and again and install the oil pump and clutch adjuster covers. The new oring chain will need an adjustment as well. Forgot to add I have to replace all the seals in the gas cap...I have the parts.
Many thanks to all who made this possible: Mark Demshak, thanks for the deal on the bike, Mark Haase, Phil Wolf, Young Dave Broome for the hours of work and John Evans for fielding my incessant texts and calls. Thanks to John and all the folks at Economy Cycle and HVC for the parts and to Mark Haase for the grips and all the parts from his stash.
