Insert appropriate thumping non music rap noise here:
" I like big butts and I cannot lie"
I find myself mildly horrified that I know those lyrics

Good Saturday in the girlie garage :) I love days like this after a week of regular work.
Got the electrical installed and checked out. Tim the chocolate brown and brown wires are hard to tell apart after 40 years. I had to trace them out to get the circuits correct. That may be your issue with the signals.

Front brake installed and bled out :!: Nice firm lever...just like I like

Belief it or not this bike is magic, ask Evans Ward and the others that couldn't seem to keep this little bike out of the lead while crossing the Skyway :D Even with 40 years of crud in it's plumbing :D

Checking timing marks...yep 2.0mm BFTDC right on.

Engine going in. You have turn the engine to a 45 degree angle, put it in and then rotate it back. What a pain.

rust or dust on neddle jets is very commun on Yamaha twin 2 stroke, don't know why but got a nice hole on a piston on the Yamaha RD 350 air coled on the girl from this time on the middle of seventies when we went to Norway, were already in Belgium, changed the piston on the road and cleaned the neddle jets and arrived in Norway two days after.
