Hope everyone who came had a good time. The weather turned out great.

Overall the Gap was a bit less crowded. The Minis' turned out to be tolerable. There seemed to be fewer tractor-trailer rigs and even a few less men in blue. Again, no one in our group got hurt, except maybe a few headaches. I know a few bikes went home a little worse for wear but nothing terrible.

I got in about 700 miles of riding, a trip to the Wheels Through Time museum, parted with my little 120ss, participated in an exciting (and successful) search & rescue mission through the mountain trails above Fontana, A smooth ride through Hwy 28 with L.I. Russ, got in 27 holes of golf, and took in some absolutely stupid night rides through the Gap.

Again....hope everyone enjoyed the trip.

I sure did, Rick, thanks. And the beginning of May turned out to be just about perfect, temperature-wise.

I really had a blast, rode close to 900 miles in 5 days, that Tuesday ride with you, Ric and the other guys was a serious ass burner and muscle killer, enjoyed all the riding, and it was great meeting a bunch a good guys!!

I had fun hanging with you boys, although I did give ya'll some space, which is why I went off by myself with my iPod and Kindle, it was after all, a boys lime (hang out), so I didn't want to intrude.

Of course the weather was great, I brought my sunshine with me!

Wonderful memories, a big thank you to everyone who carted me around and put up with me, and if you guys will have me again, I'll be back next year!!!!

I had a great time. Just relaxed, rode when I wanted to, hung out when I wanted to, got drunk when I wanted to. I just had the best time. I was so relaxed that if one of the voicemails on my cell phone was to tell me that my house burned down (it didn't) I wouldn't have cared. I didn't have to take my ulcer medicine for 10 days...I was that relaxed :) :) I haven't had a vacation like the last week and a half in years.

If I offended anyone by when we finished a conversation and then just jumping on my bike and leaving, I apologize. I wasn't trying to be unsocial.

Jeff

John, you were the one who mentioned farting and pleasuring oneself...I just farted...at about 7:00 every morning. I can't help it if you woke up and started the coffee. If you pleasured yourself, well, please tell me you didn't pleasure yourself in the coffee.

Maybe missing last year has affected my judgement, but I think 2012 was the best meet I've been to. Not even ONE pounding hail storm, no catastrophic mechanical failures (although tearing into the guts of a triple on the motel room floor does provide some interesting photos), or serious injuries. Meeting up with a pro-class guitar player and the usual cast of true high-performance enthusiasts completed the experience.
Thanks to old (make that "long-time") friend Ric for organizing the whole thing; Jeff for the shirts, mugs, pens, key fobs and general back-up, and everyone else who made the week great.
I'm already looking forward to next year.
