My preparations to DG start tomorrow -

I have to wake up at 3.30am to get to the Barbados airport for 4.30 (3 hours check-in). Flight leaves around 7.30am to go to Miami (3 1/2 hrs) couple hours stop over there, then off to NC then arriving Knoxville TN around 7.40pm. Hmm, it's gonna be a long haul, and I've only been getting about 4 hours sleep every night this week, just getting organised for the trip. Overnighting at a nearby hotel/motel then driving down with John Evans to DG Sunday morning.

I am packed and all ready, with only 1 carry-on bag and a backpack. I can travel light without the multitude of suitcases. :P

Maybe you can get some sleep on one of the flights. Sounds like you should be getting tucked in right about now.

My bikes are ready to load. I'll have an easy day tomorrow packing. I'll leave Sunday morning around 0800 hrs and be HQ's about 1300 hrs local.

See ya there....!!!

Well, I got to Cleveland TN this morning. been visiting friends all day. Will be visiting again tomorrow, but my friend Mark has to work tomorrow evening, so I may head up to the gap tomorrow afternoon and take my chances on there being a room available.

Good luck Jeff, thought Ric said in an earlier post that they had something going on all this week and rooms weren't available till Sunday.

Leaving Monday morning early, arriving 5pm DG. Wouldnt you know it, the PC800s speedo quit on the way back from Atlanta (AMA pro superbike, Road America) last sunday!! Who needs to know how fast your going? guess I will be keeping an eye on the GPS on the way to DG!

Packing mUCH less complicated no need for Camp gear, doing a room full time this year.

Safe trip to all, see ya there!!
