well
went to start up the bikes to take them for a short ride to fill them up and get the fluids moving

the gs1100ez started right up ran great

the s2a started aswell
but when i put it into gear it died right off

got it moving with starting in N, rolling it and then shifting into 1st
drove about 1/2 a mile around my property
varied the throttle
still the clutch was stuck

clutch lever moves like normal
i can see the cable shield moving a little when i pull on it

but will not disengage

any suggestions?

Was it disengaging properly previously? Sticking after sitting for a long time is common. Often if that's the case, you can un-stick it by kick starting with the clutch lever fully squeezed. Other methods include driving around holding the lever in and running hard, and taking the clutch cover off and prying the plates apart.

Other reasons for not disengaging include incorrect adjustment, either at the lever or at the actuator.

This should work (did on my S3) but hold the clutch lever in.

ONLY use 2 stroke tranny oil in your bike. You will go from sticking to slipping with 4 stroke oil.
