according to Cody, its on the side so any crud that accuulates in the bottom of container stays there and does not get to the oil lines.
that Cody is always thinking.

  I aint that smart, but I did mention to Jake to keep the bung up off of the bottom a bit so the screen isn't just sitting on the floor of the tank. If sludge ever did start to build up, the screen will not be laying in it.

#1 criteria was not to have the banjo and oil line sticking down into the tire area. As it sits, there will only be 3/4" of clearance between the top of the tire and oil tank when suspension is fully compressed.
That is with 14" shocks and 3" of travel (similar to the Works on the H1). The bottom of the tank follows the side profile of the frame/shock mounts, so it works out cool in that the lowest part is farthest forward and pitched to the front edge slightly. Very little oil would sit in the bottom of this tank even with the line mounted on the front as it is.

#2 Turns out the original S3 rear inner fender mount on the right side is in the PERFECT location to act as the "hose-guide" elminating the need for a zip tie or clamp. That, and the line ends up running down behind the frame tube.

#3 Trying to keep this thing as bare-bones looking as possible. The less crap I can see the better.

Think of how much weight you would have saved by using premix  Tank, oil,oil pump, crankslingers etc etc :) :)

I'm not sure he'd save the weight of the oil or the container it comes in. :P
