Just throwing this up here to test how "INTERNATIONAL" our site is . Is there anyone in New South Wales (Aus) who can, or can recommend someone to, build a H1 crank properly ........??

Thanks Sverre, Nev is only 20 minutes away from me, but a thousand miles from a friend in N.S.W. who is looking at a crank build!

There was a guy setting up in NSW or Qld a while back- That was on the old board.

Nigel, yes I'm probably going to concentrate on the multi cranks as there are quite a few people around whom can do the singles (its easy with the jigs...no real ability required!!), but not many who can build up 2,3 & 4 cylinder ones.

A bit of background.....I am a motorcycle mechanic by trade, started in 1968 and moved to the dark side (cars) in 1985. I worked for a yamaha dealer and was trained (factory Yamaha) to rebuild cranks in 1969. I raced Superkarts, and helped build many, many, TD and TZ cranks way back then....

I set up my own repair shop, and got a Kawasaki agency back in 1973, and rebuild lots of triple cranks in the 70's and early 80's.....the Kawasaki way of rebuilding is quite different to the Yamaha method.....
