Nah, I've been itching to come for years, my only problem is that I haven't ridden since I got my license in July, so I don't know if I will actually get to ride the Dragon. :( But pending some disaster, I'll be there!!!

I teach beginner riding (MSF) classes and will be happy to help get your skills up. You can ride my bikes, but I'd be surprised if more suitable mounts didn't present themselves. You're gonna have a blast Lisa!

Oh coooooooooooooooooooool!! Thanks a lot!! I know how people are in loaning out their beloved bikes, so I really do appreciate it!

Oh yes I will have a blast, I'm like one of the boys, so drinking, smoking, belching, farting, stratching, cussing is no problem around me. Looking forward to the beer/wine/rum/tequilla/etc tastings too.

My first REAL street bike was my H2 in 1978 - not the most optimum learning machine (I'd been riding my DT250 and various other dirt bikes for years). Proof in the pudding is I crashed it on the freeway 6 months after buying it - and several times over the years too.

Decided to trailer my GT500 to the Gap get together instead of the Franken400. It has been a few years sense I had the 500 to the gap. Last time, I road it up. I was camping and the poor thing was massively loaded for a weeks camping. It will be the first time I trailer it behind the PC800. Hoping for decent weather!!

Barry, you know my first motorcycle of any kind was my H2 in '78. I practiced on it, and passed the test on it. It took me a couple years to have my first crash, but totalling a Toyota was worth the dent I have in my pelvis.

See you in less than 4 weeks!

Hmmm. My first real street bike was a 72 H2 in 1983. I see a pattern here. Not sure what that means, but I like it.

HI guys and girls!! I'm still alive but just don't have the desire to sit in front of the computer any more. I've also been in a wrenching slump, but forced myself to rebuild Blueboy after last years' seal failure. I even bored it for the first time! The only two-strokes I have left are Blueboy and a YSR50 (YZ80 engine) that isn't finished. I doubt that it'll be making the trip, but Suzanne and I plan on coming up Friday and staying until Sunday morning. I guess I'll have to bring the Connie so she and I can go for a ride, but I sure hate putting that beast on the trailer.

If anybody has space in their room for Friday and Saturday night (even floorspace for an air mattress), let me know.

Lane
