The plural form of Wiseco shouldn't have an apostrophe... that would make it possessive.

"I can hear Dave crying from here!"

THIS IS ONE OF THE KEY REASONS THOSE WITHIN THE "TEAM KAWASAKI ROAD RACE" COMMUNITY MEMBERS HAVE NOT WANTED TO COME HERE TO POST, HELP, AND THEN GET DEFAMED AND MALIGNED BY THE PERSON THAT POSTED "HIS OPINION", ABOVE, AND OTHERS.

I think it wold be prudent for myself to bid the boards Adios, as this sort of baseless, useless, never ending personal attack just doesn't seem to ever stop. Besides, I still need a new hip, after that, I need to get back to my personal projects, including the ongoing liquid cooled, 6 speed, dry clutch reversed cylinder H2 engine for one of my street H2R chassis bikes, plus a lot more projects I haven't finished.

For the record, my eyes are dry, no tears, never have been, never will be.

Enough, is truly far, far more than just enough. Have a nice day, all.

I was not offended. But it and others are turning into FB wannabees.
Just "corrected" by some. No problem!

I, myself are(sic) of the current vocabulary that anyone from 15-40 years of age uses over and over.

Even on the news "reports" from journalists?

On another note>

My next project on the H1D is a optical triggered Zeel.
This Zeel I have found, needs 1.4v positive trigger volts(unknown current) to fire.

Not always there from a kick start.

Slot IR opto - interrupts/pcb board wheel.
The optos have a built in amp so external transistors not needed. Instant 5 volts to zeel at any speed.

I am thinking this also eliminates the delay feature needed in the Zeel programming.

anyone wanna comment?

I mean, you know, like, umm, right?

:banghead

Anyways anyone have any thoughts on my project?

It's not a correct paint job or horn placement or anything exciting, to me at least.

I just like these Trips to live another generation.

Maybe teach the youngers of mech/elec/trib nuances to make any project a chance of success.

Thanks for all the opinions. As I said, I have had the same set of Wiseco pistons in my GT380 since 1982. Ran it at Bridghampton and Loudon with no issues.
Here is a video of the bike last summer. https://youtu.be/oNk4929Wjv8
Not too bad after 38 years.
Little tough getting my kicking leg up since the broken femur and hip replacement, and yes, I was a bit late putting up the side stand.
Starts first kick, great compression, and runs great. Is Wossner a better piston? In my case it does not matter, as I am sure the Wiseco will run fine for my expected use of the bike.
Hopefully a moderator will clean up the thread a bit. Now back to the bike.

Yes, the thread-cleanup moderator will be busy with it very shortly I'm sure. :)

So I am on the waiting list for my pistons and cylinders. Charlie Olsen of Olsen Engines has been working on cars and bikes since the 70's. His GS1000 ran up with Freddie Spencer back in the day. I have a bit of a wait for him to get through some Ferrari and Porsche engines before my turn, but his work is worth the wait. I have known Ivan (http://www.ivansperformanceproducts.com/) and Charlie since high school, so I know I am in good hands. I just wish Ivan hadn't moved down south, it was nice having him a couple miles away.
On to the more mundane bike work.
Brakes needed a complete run through since it was parked in 1977. I removed all of the paste that used to be brake fluid, cleaned and rebuilt the master cylinder and caliper. Nothing like new seals and pistons. Getting that tiny vent pin hole clear, and removing the small circlips was a minor pain, but brakes turned out well.

I think a lot of us have experience with brake parts that look like that. I went to a single EX caliper and 1/2" master cylinder. It has a better feel than stock dual disks and reduced the unsprung weight a full 10 lbs. The performance over a stock single disk is huge.

Front fork tubes were a bit rough. New tubes with seals and dust boots are in.
Lowers will be cleaned up soon.
