Hey I have a few spare vm28 carbs. One is missing the brass plug air box side of the carb. can ya replace a missing brass plug? If so with what. Anyone have a brass plug laying around? NOS? LOL Or anyone fixed this issue with? Thanks for the help in advanced, just trying to thin out the spare parts department.

Tap the hole & put a short screw in it & cut the head off of the screw.

Or, tap the hole, Lock-Tite in an Allen set screw, no cutting needed. The original plug would have been a soft brass ball bearing ball, I do believe, staked in place, and coated with a clear sealer

Lots of good ideas. Thanks. How do you shoot only one bb from a 12 gauge? LOL. And I have some spare carb bodies but wanna keep my original KA6 on it. I have one KH5 and 2 KA5's I think I will find a brass plug replacement or the BB idea isn't bad either. Only a few more quirks to work out then the newly painted tins go on and its smoke and vibration time !!!!! The g/f is ganna like this one at 10k rrrrs lol
