BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have any idea what year the cylinders are from? If it is the square cut, NOS, with NOS heads that must be worth 2 grand alone.....AT LEAST

AND a S3....

wow

BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he said the cylinders were late cylinders. I have not seen the NOS cylinders yet. he said he is pretty sure he has them.
I have not seen the S3 or pictures of it yet, he did say it is rough.

talked to him last night, says he has to have 7,500 for everything.

5000.00 for just the H2, I think that is too much for a non running 74 H2. little rust in the tank and ported cylinders. the bike is
is kind of weathered. just saw a really clean 74 with 6K miles on it sell for 7,300.00 on ebay. very clean but repainted.

I don't believe you mentioned the non-running part in your previous posts. That changes things a lot.

it rolls over with good compression and spark. rust in tank is more like oxidation. hasnt run since 96.
same for the KH400.

Im going to shoot him a lower offer and see what happens, may not end up with this stuff. He said price is firm.
Sure would be nice to own my first H2 but other deals always come along.

I like the package deals with multiple bikes and extra parts. feels like Christmas instead of just a birthday

The H2 hasnt run in 20 years? Could need a crank rebuild due to bad seals.

I would not use eBay as a price comparison, those prices are typically higher that what can be found in the "real world".

If this helps, I paid $3500 for a basket case '74 H2 last year.

Can't loose on that deal. You can't announce you bough it cheap, but definitely worth it.

Also , what do you think a set of NOS H2 cylinders and heads are worth????

Last set of NOS cylinders on eBay sold for $500 each.
3 H2 heads used worth $200-220, so double that to $400-500 maybe more. Never seen any NOS H2 heads for sell.

I like buying cheap :D that's the only way I can afford this addiction.
I need to come up with a counter offer. he also offered to throw in a Honda gl 1100 motor.
what the hell would I do with that?

Price should be cheaper, hauling that Honda motor to the dump. Chances that they are NOS early cylinders is slim to none. Anyway still worth $500 each, sell as a set. I think after you sold all the extras, the bike would only cost you less than $4000

I will see what happens. hes gotta find the NOS parts and at least get me some pics of the KH.

by the way, the Honda motor is not part of the deal now.

I would not hesitate at 6,500.00. I'll throw that out there and see what happens.

Well, now there is no KH400 in the deal now and not sure he has all of the NOS parts.

Good news is the price is coming down. 5k for a semi rough, ported with dencos 74 h2, 1 set of 20 over cylinders, original pipes, a kh 400 motor with no cylinders or heads, an h2 engine case (maybe some tranny gears) and any NOS parts he can find.

Going to take another look at the bike, bringing trailer and cash this time.
I am pretty excited, never owned an H2, Never drove one.

currently have 2-3/4 H1's

its sitting in my driveway. I'll post some pics later.

I did not get the NOS cylinders. this guy had so much stuff packed in his storage shed!
we pulled 1/2 of the boxes and totes out and would find a part here and a part there.
it was a lot of work and he finally decided to give up looking.
he is moving into a house hes buying next month and promised if he finds them
he will give me a call so maybe I will get lucky.

He did find the crank for the extra bottom end, needs to be rebuilt but I
have what looks like a mostly complete tyrany and cases.

Also a 400 triple motor. missing center cylinder and 2 heads. that is for sale if any one is interested.

Well got my first H2 in the stable, this thing was last ran about 4 years ago, he drained the tank and ran the gas out
so that's a plus. He made me promise I wont kill myself. motor is ported stage 1?
