@TPS: Must figure that one out. Both S and H drum the 2nd leading shoe pivot is rod operated....
@RalfG: only major castrastrophy can keep me away! ;)

Aha, I was referring to the rear brakes Leo. I just read back a bit and see this discussion is about the drum front brakes. :oops: Rear brake on my 74 H1 has a very spongey feel and would be fine for Moo, as it basically does not exist. :lol: However my S3 will lock the rear wheel on command! :e11

Yeah, stock my KH400 rear brake was dangerously effective. Now with rearsets and a peddle 1/4 of the original length, it's useless... My bike is so much safer now! :lol:

:clap: nice to hear from you. I´m sure, you will have a lot of fun at the next Odenwaldring Classics. The ignition of my S2-R is repaired since today. 5th of august I will test it in France at the circuit of L´Anneau Du Rhin. This is a very nice little racetrack (length is 2,9 Km) with a lot of curves and a gigantic grip. Maximum sound intensity is 100 DB.
