Geezus Mark, glad it's no worse than that, but bad enough. Best wishes for a full and rapid recovery.

That's sucks. Good brakes or something. Never happen on your average triple. Front brake barely works with all four fingers.

Glad you came out ok and didn't go over the edge, get ran over by an oncoming car, or hit something stationary. That could of been a lot worse. Funny thing is Michelle kept saying all week that you looked like you could really ride good. I just sent the link to your vid to her and said this is the guy you thought could ride :P there is a fine line between riding hard and screwing up, my time will come.

Great video (from an educational standpoint).

Mark has always known (mentioned more than once on a couple of forums) that his RD has a "surplus" of front braking power. I've always thought stock RD's brakes SUCKED, and would rather have more than needed than not enough, but I'd probably look at sizing a less sensitive master cylinder if I kept both discs mounted.

Didn't Hurley Wilvert do the same thing on his H1r after fitting dual EX calipers a few years back. Tapped the front and was on his head????

Just goes to show how quick it can happen. (been there myself)

All part of riding motorsickles.....

I agree on stock RD brakes sucking. Mine are very poor braking bikes. Even the RZ brakes are weak. After riding Ben's baby BMW this week I now know what a good braking MC feels like. Not grabby at all but a two finger pull will put your doodads upon the tank if required

That's a tactful yet visual way of putting it. :wtf:
