LOL I have one of those, it would make a great alarm clock for those who complain about being woke up by chambers too early! :e11

That is why I don't attend most events around here. Occasionally I'll sign up for a ride and pay, but only if it's for a charity event where I know the charity.

This meet is special. We are just a good group of friends from all over the country (and world) who manage to get together once a year. I look forward to it every year.

Mark,

Aren't you the only person to make all of them?

I was there in 2000, the year we count as the first; and I've never missed one since. I know a few people had met there in 1999 which really got the idea rolling for having meets there.

Back then, and for a few years, the meet was just Friday through Sunday. A couple dozen of us also met again each year in August/September; that late Summer meet only lasted a few years. Then for many years the meet ran from Wednesday through Sunday. I'd guess the past five years we've been meeting for the entire week.

You go Roger!

I attended all of the late-summer events. I made the first main event in 2002, I think. Ric had his CBX there. There were maybe 25-30 two-strokes in attendance. Pinky wasn't pink yet! I hate that they got TVs in the rooms now. In those days, the ONLY things to do were socialize in the parking lot, drink, and watch RB's home movies on the side of somebody's trailer....and smoke. Damn I miss smoking.....if they ever tell me I have a terminal disease, I will buy a carton of cigarettes on the way home from the Doctor.

Lane, I don't see a lot of TVs going when I'm there. The only time I turn ours on is to get an idea of the weather for the day. I know what you're saying about smoking, but I'm glad to hear you quit.
