I made a few too - close to Moo's cost. Not the hotels fault it's the credit card company. Next time I'll remember to pickup a prepaid. It is what it is.

My wife called our daughter at home from an in-room phone in Cancun, talked to her for about three minutes, Hotel charged $605 on our credit card. We disputed but Visa said "You shouldn't have done that"

ANYTIME you are in a hotel and you use a phone to call out, expect to pay big bucks!

Even in Barbados, where every single local land line to land line call is free, when you go into a hotel to call somewhere local, they will charge you.

2 miles down the road was a cell booster. we made calls there to check up on the house.

I tried twice, got no signal walked all over, and right by the trailer.
