I've paired down a lot of stuff I was going to bring - mostly tools.

Hey Barry, no sweat. Got you covered. Bringing a 555 gallon compressor, 5,000 dry batteries with two hundred gallons of acid, 4 million watt battery charger with a plutonium fuel cell and 300 GW inverter. Oh and forgot to mention, the fuel cell comes complete with a mini-cooper "LASER"

Jebus, I've had enough wrenching and fabricating in the last few weeks to last a while. If one bike breaks I think I'll just concentrate on riding the other one. I just finished putting a new front drive shaft in the minivan for the suckers here that aren't going to DG.

Drive shaft working as it should, but discovered a leak in the bypass hose, which was designed to be changeable only while doing a complete engine rebuild. Still working on it.

Just got a call from the shop that my Husky 450 SMR will not be ready. :banghead
Apparently the mechanic working on it tried crossing high water in his truck and got washed away. He is alive but in an ambulance...

Phoenix Project prep:
New Dunstall shift lever installed. Still has a little slop, but way better.
New stato-seals and triangle lock installed oil pump, seeps stopped.
All that's left is a chain adjustment and cleanup and it will be ready to load.
DOH moment of the day:
Side stand had gotten sloppy and wouldn't retract all the way even with NOS spring installed and frame hole bushed. Dragged the pavement several times during Dragon runs last year. Solution :banghead :banghead :banghead
Tightened loose side stand bolt...
Test rides complete. Girly Bike chamber coating bubbled up, 1st time I ran it hard so it will readdressed upon my return...
