Got some low-down on the fiddies racing at the Gap (what I call the pump races).

Apparently, Fiddies is a club of racers. You join for 20 bucks a year. The bike requirement is a 10/10 bike; that is, 10 inch wheels front and rear.

Of course, we can have our own pump racing using larger wheels. I think Brad just doesn't want us to race full size bikes out there; or bikes that are otherwise over-powered for the track size.

They've also been able to move some vehicles out of the asphalt area directly in front of the rooms for increasing the track size and scope. Don't think they can do that with all of us there.

Is 10" wheels the only spec to meet?

Apparently. But there are a few rules:

1. ATGATT- all the gear all the time.
2. Always go right (the exception to this rule is if we run "clockwise" always go left).
3. If you miss a cone you must go back around it, failure to do so will result in DQ.

And, there are these classes:

Seniors
Big Bike
Fiddy
Power Puff

I think the term "Fiddy" comes from 50cc bike racing. But I'm sure other displacements are being run.
