if you are familiar with this movie, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067893/ you may remember the end part where they are finishing up(the last 20 minutes) they cross into north carolina. and you guessed it... they come in past the resivoir, cross the bridge at tapoco (fugitive dam) and the cafe they eat where the girl takes off w/the guy on the bike is actually on the otherside of robbinsville. Also, theres a backround shot near the resivior where theres a group of guys on the side of the road with a bunch of bikes. I never noticed thsi till last sunday it was on a movie channel, since we have on demand/live recording, etc, i could actually back it up and check it out. If you have this movie, take a look at it. like said, its int he last 20-25 minutes. If not, check it out, its def a cheesy 70's car movie but its really good for what it is. great drag scenes and car shots. But the gap tie in was kinda wild, especially since it was from 1971. |

My favorite quote is the guy filling the tank early in the movie asked "is that a 396 ?" and james taylor reply`s "454" ![]() |
