If I can keep up I'll ride with you Ric.
Maggie Valley is a piece of cake. Done it twice on the Daytona and once on the RZ. The musuem is well worth a visit. Last year my son and I made NC, SC, GA, and Tn in one day. That ride went thru the Highlands and onto the Blueridge and finished the day off with a ride down the Dragon to make Tn. I may not ride fast but I ride long. Oh and only got lost twice the whole week-one of those was Carl and Rogers fault. I don't know why more don't ride the Blueridge. The speed limit is 45 on the BR and you do not want to exceed that but if you hold your corner speeds up it can be a very spirited ride. Beware of the tunnels on the Blueridge cause it gets real dark in them. Have your tinted sheild up and the sunglasses down when you enter them. I also like to ride the Foothills Parkway and down Little River Road-again you don't want to exceed the speed limit. For those of you who ride the Cherola-next time you get to Tellico Plains there is a motorcycle outfitter shop just off the main road. Stop in, he has maps for the off pavement guys but can show you some other rides. There is a nice loop that goes south out of Tellico and circles back.
