Update from Killboy's FB page... Just spoke with TDOT Program Manager about the scheduled repave, and the latest info is: "The project letting [bidding process] is scheduled for 3/22/2024, it will be at least a month before the contract is awarded after the letting date and work will not start until at least a month after award." Road will remain open with 1 lane during the process and traffic management. |

Thanks Jeff. I've been wondering when they'd get around to repaving it. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'll miss Carl's Curve though. A few years ago he pointed out one curve that has a very narrow path if you want to avoid a bunch of broken pavement. Every time I go through there I think of his warning and stay on that path. |
