Update from Killboy's FB page...

Just spoke with TDOT Program Manager about the scheduled repave, and the latest info is:

"The project letting [bidding process] is scheduled for 3/22/2024, it will be at least a month before the contract is awarded after the letting date and work will not start until at least a month after award."

Road will remain open with 1 lane during the process and traffic management.

Thanks Jeff. I've been wondering when they'd get around to repaving it. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I'll miss Carl's Curve though. A few years ago he pointed out one curve that has a very narrow path if you want to avoid a bunch of broken pavement. Every time I go through there I think of his warning and stay on that path.
