Go up there all the time during Summer.....Yeah it's hotter than May but it's not all that bad.

Remember, the Gap is at ~ 2,000 feet altitude....temp's can drop 5 to 10 degrees over 1,000 ft.
The Cherohala Skyway goes from 1,000 to 5,400 feet.
Parts of Santeetlah Lake are over 2,000 feet.
Fontana Village is just under 2,000 ft.

I’ll bring some various size socks (ala Red Hot Chili Peppers) and rubber bands. The paranoid type gets athletic cups. Might give new meaning to “pucker factor”. Wise riders will have hipster brown seat covers.

Chris, you may have noticed that the weather this week would not have been very good for the meet. There were showers today, and rain is expected tomorrow with a high of 55! Thursday will be OK but with a high of only 63, then Friday rain is predicted again with the temperature in the 50s all day. Saturday will be another cold day.

Yes, I noticed! I guess that’s somewhat of a consolation. Plus the motel isn’t open yet.
I kept my week of vacation this week. I’m painting our Living/Dining Room. Not fun!

I saw that once in a theater, probably around 1978. I'd watch it again for sure.

When I was in LA For school there were a lot of foreign students there also. And they wanted to get the feel for America movie history, so I rented Easy Rider. One one understood anything about it...... LOL
