It might time for a roll call or poll soon. Several regulars have reached out and said they were not going to make it.

Please note that IF the meet is canceled or postponed from our scheduled week and you still plan on going, I will assist with accommodations so you can secure a room BEFORE they are forfeited.

If you are a room holder not attending AND your roommates are also not attending, let me know so we can offer the room to those on the waiting list. Mike/Sammy are next, followed by Scully (if I remember correctly) and I haven’t heard their plans lately.

Thanks all. I am having weekly calls with the resort until this is decided.

I hate to say it, but I'm not going to be able to make it this year.

PA is on lockdown until 4/30 now and Leo has been home from school for 3 weeks. If PA opens up on 4/30, Alia and Leo will have been stuck in the house for 7 weeks. I can't leave for a week vacation, by myself, after they have been stuck for 7 weeks and Alia's April getaway was cancelled.

Jim, where does it say the motel is closed? When I spoke to them Monday, the were open. Graham County was pretty much closed down (all of Robbinsville including Tapoco). I should have an update soon. I know the website says no events, but I thought the motel was open but I could have misunderstood.

I guess I misunderstood what they meant on their site, and combined with a photo I saw of their parking lot, I assumed they were closed. It seems you can get there by coming up the Dragon through Tennessee, but not by any other route.

Chris,
My plans depend on you since we are rooming together. If you are still coming and the resort is open, I plan on being there. Still keeping the faith.

So if we stay for a month, we’re all good? :)
