close enough. plan this year is :

Grom with 250 motor
CB1100 because, no muss no fuss.
70 R5 'barney'.

still tweaking the gromzuki but should be no problem.

I'm going to revert the old minibike to OEM carb but with adapter to make it more ride-able but I think I toasted it on Johns dyno at RBs. If that fails I'll try and make the Preditor motor work but the pull start is in the wrong direction do I'll swap the Honda pull on it (I've done that before when I test fit it a while back). I'm also in discussion with Pat of Taco Minibikes. He should have some base frames available in march. Cutting it close for a build (I want decent brakes etc) so it'll be tight but I want an old-school minibike. Always wanted a taco.....The Briggs engine is horribly expensive.... on the fence with that...

Yeah! Back cutting the dogs with a chisel... perfect!

OK you wise guys... when I initially got the case halves to start coming apart I wiggled the freshly sharpened chisel in by hand to help get the gap bigger. No hammering, no gouging. The problem was that the smaller, wider rubber crank seal was firmly stuck to the aluminum. It's also so shot that I can wiggle it about 1/16" radially with no resistance.

This is the first time the case has been apart since December 1971 when it was put together.
