Pop quiz kiddos- the orange car pictured above is a 2 stroke. Give the name of it, country of manufacturer, and composition of body shell. Winner gets one imaginary COVID-19 FREE granny apple. :e6

No google, but...Trabant, East Germany, compressed cardboard.... Did you know early H2 swing-arm bushings were resin impregnated cotton?!? :P

Ding, ding, ding- winner! I did not know that Early H2 fact. I had a project one but never did much with it selling it over 10 years ago.

I guess mine were like that. Those things wouldn't just press out, I had to chisel them out in pieces. They had become one with the swing arm.

The greeny-grey things, they worked OK, but wore out quickly, especially if the swing-arm was a bit loose......!

Greetings All
Given my history of pneumonias and pre-diabetes and my age I feel it would be foolish for me to attend the meet as scheduled even if by some wild chance the virus peaks, wanes and the resort re-opens none of which I see happening. I will of course resume our annual count down if and when a new date is available and selected. VA has enacted a stay at home order until 10 June as things stand now and I can't risk my security clearance or employment by catching a charge for violating the order so my bikes haven't left the shop since the order was issued. I am also getting some pressure from my Boss to cancel my leave if I am not going as our schedules are done a month out so I will be cancelling my leave come Monday. Please stay home and stay safe my 2 Stroke Brothers.

Given that I can't ride on the street this break I plan to crank up the Blaster Quad and sling some cow poop after I get my grass mowed.

You'll be missed Tim. :( South Carolina is one of 8 states not on lock down yet. We'll be last as we are in everything. Stay healthy my friend. We still have plenty of good riding years in our future.
