Just a thought.....

I was at the Gap this last weekend (8/3/19). Although the roads had plenty of Miatas on them, there were relatively few motorcycles, i.e. the Tail of the Dragon and Gap resort weren't a madhouse of motorcycles.

I went over the Cherohala Skyway and maybe saw four motorcycles; same thing on 129 between the Gap and Robinsville.

Maybe school starting ?

I saw only one really crazy thing....a Miata with a Corvette V-8 !!! And we think we're nuts !!!

The wife and I are staying at the resort next week for 4 nights. Gonna ride all the roads and show her the new part of the parkway. Then we're going to ride the Blue Ridge parkway some and stay at the Pisgah Inn before heading back home.
