Yeah the 1st time I went was in August 2004, the 2nd meet that year. Then as time passed it went to one meet a year. I don't recall what year the 2nd meet stopped.

If you want it, I got your boom pal!

I have a few videos of some of the pyrotechnic shows that we put on especially those of Nick (from Vintage smoke) riding his two stroke ninja going up wheelie hill with roman candles shooting out the back. :wtf:
Those were the days...
Safe travels,

Charlie

I remember thinking:
* This is not going to end well
* They will never get everything lit
* I hope no one gets hurt
* The police will be here is 15 minutes
* Shouldn't someone be saying "hold my beer and watch this"

It actually was very cool, no one got hurt and I don't recall the police coming
Kinda like hillbilly NASA

Please Uncle Chris, can we do science again this year?

What ever happened to the insane monky bike racing around the gas pumps?
Seems like that was OK with management but looked like we should have an ambulance on standby?

We're not suppose to let Chris know and in the famous quote from Schultz (Hogans Heros)..." I know Nothing!"

By the way, the cops are over an hour away and they go to bed by 9pm like the rest of the mountaineers...

Safe travels and remember you guys (and girls) are invited to meet Chuckie and I for breakfast at the Waffle King on 64 in Murphy about 9am. Ask for Dawn she's got the good stuff...

As for the "Insane Monkey Bike Racing" around the gas pumps, you need to ask Jim what the track will look like this year...
