You guys are heartless, all this talk of Southern cuisine. I have raced bikes all over this country, for decades, and the rest if the world, but, "Suthun cookun" is so far beyond, some of us just get blown away with it. Myself, if an encounter occurs during one of my bouts with a weight loss effort, and I am in one if these 'food kills Dave' zones, I become both a dead man, and the food pig of all time.

NOT to say everywhere else is not as good, only that the whole experience is just plain murder weapon killer. And, a cook with a name like "Iron on the Bayou", done, finished, over, delay the race, I'm still makin' a pig outta myself.

Then, there are other places, and cooks all across the country, it just ain't fair at all.

Time is booked. Wife is on deck. Shoulder healed. Imma be there. Chucky? Evans? Set list, keep me updated.

as an fyi, i'll be staying elsewhere this trip. I'll Prob be spending most of my time at HQ, but just wont be sleeping there this year. (tim kept sneaking into my room and watching me sleep last year... )
