2018 19th Annual Eastern 2 Stroke Meet Official dates: Check in on Sunday 4/29, Check out on Sunday 5/6. To stay in good standing with the Resort, Room Holders should take the rooms for the majority of the week (5-6 NIGHT MINIMUM). You can coordinate with someone to share the room so that it will be held by us 2-strokers for the full week. Sun-Sun (7), Sun-Sat (6), Mon-Sat (6). Just a reminder: the process is first come first serve. I post the rooms and you post a response with your name, arrive and leave dates, and room type (standard or large/apartment). Same rules as in previous years. Rule clarification: a board member can only post for one room. You can’t post for one room for yourself and then post again for somebody else. TO BECOME A ROOM HOLDER Respond here on this post just as I have done below: 1. your name (first & Last), 2. your arrival date and departure date 3. if you prefer a standard room or a large apartment room. 4. Do not write anything else on this particular post. Do not use this thread to post anything else (start another thread). PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING All fourteen rooms are available: 12 standard size rooms & 2 large apartment rooms. The rooms are reserved in my name. This is done so we can get all the rooms on the same series of days and so the resort will book us as a group this far in advance. The rooms will be put in your name, on your credit card within 30 days of the meet. I will notify those people (room holders) when to call the hotel and have their room placed on their credit card. Each room will be placed under a single credit card. That is, the hotel will be working with a single purchaser of each room. If you share with others you must get your money from those you are sharing. Do not go to the hotel telling them you are only responsible for one-fourth of the room. Once you've spoken for a room you are the sole person responsible to the hotel for paying for that room in full. NOTE: If it turns out you can't go (i.e. loss of child), PLEASE don't call the hotel and cancel. Up to 48 hours prior to the event, tell me so I can call the hotel and get the room back in my name; otherwise the hotel will see the room as being given up by us and they will give the room to just anyone. Cancellation policy requires a 48 hour notice. If you’re a no show you may end up responsible for any and all charges accountable to your reservation. 48 hours prior to the meet I will no longer take the room back in my name. ADDITIONALLY: Please understand that this procedure comes from a long-standing arrangement with the hotel. The simpler it is for the hotel, the more willing they are to rent the whole place this far in advance. So, Room Holders should not call the hotel except when I advise you to. IMPORTANT: This is not any sort of club meet. We are not a club or official association of any type. We are not affiliated with any organization, business, club, association, or otherwise. There is no board of directors or officials, no dues, no voting, etc. This is just a chance for friends to get together. This post is merely to acquire rooms at the same hotel for everyone.
