Big thanks to Chris for pulling the 2017 Gap meet together.

Chris did an excellent job! Michelle is great, an they made a great team getting things together. Chris didn't even mind taking responsibility for everything that happened there!      ;) ;) ;)

One thing, we really need to stay away from Memorial day weekend. A total cluster like last time.

Of course the problem is also staying away from Mini week and other events like that at the same time you stay away from Memorial Day. I wouldn't mind the meet being in April if necessary, if it avoids crowds better.

The photos in the Deals Gap pics and vids should help. The best parts for me are seeing all the guys each year, and riding some of the best roads in the country. Now that my daughter goes with me, it's even better.

Thanks Chris!
Everything was nicely organised and you are a great leader for road trips.

Highlights for me was the group Skyride and Wheeler's trips.

Seems like staying away from wet or cold weather and holiday weekends makes for the best trip.
Maybe earlier in May or first week of June?

I've heard that right after the leaves are gone in the fall is the best time of the whole year, and that was from an elbow dragging local. He said the roads are clear and there are few other vehicles compared to the spring.

Don't forget the Pizza! I still can't believe how much Charlie and Chris made in such a short time and an unfamiliar kitchen. And thanks to Tom for the supplies. It there were others, sorry if I missed you.

In spite of my limited riding and my back pain, I had a great time. I can't wait for next year!
