Yes after the local Yamaha dealer replaced the leaking valve stem assembly and it still leaked 2 psi a day on the front. The rear also loses about. 2 psi per day from the stem. I have just been airing it up every time I ride. The front hasn't leaked since I had a tube put in and I assume the rear will stop leaking as well. The rear tire is getting close and I know I won't stop riding it enough for it.to make it through the Gap so I plan to get my money's worth out of it and then installing the new chain, sprockets, and tire a couple weeks before I leave.

I had on the Daytona rim a front tire just wouldn't drop leaking at the rim. Then one day it stop leaking. I guess they decided to get together finally.

For some reason the riding during that week is really hard on tires. Ben's FJR will chew up a rear tire that week. I think it's something about pulling 700 lbs around those corners and accelerating 700 lbs back up to speed on the exit. He blames me for wearing out his tire cause I make him carry my Yamalube. :D

Yep the extra weight of the Yamalube must be considered in the tire wear calculations....

In other Girly Bike news:
The new chain and sprockets for the RZ arrived 2 days after the order was.placed. Thanks John at Economy Cycle. :e11 :e11 I will be ordering the new tire and tube on payday...

Hi Gang,

Looking forward to seeing you all, or should I say... " Y'all " but I'm from Brooklyn... :wtf: Hopefully the guys that plan on jamn with us in the band bring their gear and those who want to sing...I'll bring a book of lyrics. I also ran an ad in the local craigslist for a few female singers to play with us....lets see what shows up... :lol:

I spoke with Chuckie today and he's been pretty busy and wants to go now!

I also added a new ride for the attraction and it's a 4-stroke... 8-) By the way will be doing the annual mini-bike mid-night run/ parking lot races with roman candles? If so, I'm in.

60 days gentlemen.
I have very little progress to report. Been busy on the farm. I am waiting on the sprockets for the Phoenix to arrive from Sprocket Specialists. I hope to get them by next break in another week. I found two worn and loose spark plug caps on the RZ and they are scheduled for delivery today. I still have to order the new rear tire and tube as well. I have plenty of cleaning and polishing to do on the Phoenix while I wait for parts as it is currently pretty grungy...

I'm into the prep here a little earlier than most years. I have the Ninja 250 ready, and have moved on to the DT100. It's getting new head bearings and a new LED headlight, and well as come crash damage repair. There's still the H2 after that.
