Lots of progress in getting ready for the Gap. My H2's bodywork should be ready for pickup on Monday. Brand new real paint (not spray bomb) and professional bodywork. Shifty's elbow dent on my tank has been repaired.
My old trailer has been retired for long distance trips. I'll still be using it for local trips and hauling coal, gravel, firewood, etc. I just got tired of having to replace at least one of the 8" tires ever time I took the trailer on a long trip. Besides, the decking needs to be completely redone.

The new trailer is now DONE!!! Other than getting 2 new tires and installing the bearing buddies, that is. I ordered them yesterday, and they were supposed to be here today. Well I got the 2 new tires, but only one of the new rims. The other rim will be in on Monday...the vendor owned up to their mistake in shipping only one rim.
Here it is... 6x12 foot deck. 3x1.5 box tubing frame welded to a boat trailer. 5/4" decking. The chocks and e-track tie downs are mounted to 2x12's which are in turn bolted to the decking. I mounted a slimline truck crossbed toolbox to the trailer to hold all my tools and misc. parts. I was going to move the box from the old trailer to the new one, but the bottom of the old truck box has several rust holes, so I sprung the $150 for a new aluminum box. It has new LED trailer lights. The wiring will be re-done later this summer as the wiring that came with the light kit is about 4 foot too short, so I made it work for this trip, but it's not what I want it to be. I'll eventually shorten up the tongue of the trailer about 3 foot, just to make it a little more manageable. The eyebolt in the middle of the back rail of the trailer is to anchor the ramp to the trailer so the ramp doesn't kick out.

Tomorrow, I'll get at least most of the bikes loaded on the trailer. I have to work 4 10 hour days starting on Sunday, so I need to get as much done tomorrow as possible so that I can leave on Thursday for TN and then to the Gap on Sunday.
Also, I picked up the shirts this morning. They look great. And, on top of the giveaway keychains and pens, there will also be some new helmet stickers and window stickers available to those showing up at the gap.
