My usual late Summer trip to the Gap for a few days. I'll be staying at the resort.
And...for those who know her....Charity has left the resort. I think she may have taken a Casino job.

Have fun Ric. It's sad that Charity won't be at the resort. Hopefully its a good move for her.

A few new faces at the Gap resort. Of course Charity left and MG and Jana had already gone. No change in service....all is well.

The place was thin on guest (half full maybe) as there was a threat of rain every day....we rode all day long Thurs, Fri & Sat but never got wet. Tempatures in the mtns were mid to high 70's. Great riding weather. Lots of sportbikes and HD's. I saw one RZ but never got close enough to see who it was. Saw a new Honda CB1100...good looking nekked bike.

Fiddy racing was a little more organized and competative; MG & Jana were there.

Two guys on HD's in the room next to us were new to the area. They asked about the Cherohala Skyway. I warned them to go easy as some curves are decreasing radus. Of course they didn't listen and one of them is now in the Knoxville hospital with a broken leg.

Some Canadians. Some South African folks (they really had a big time). Being from Alabama I was drilled for info on Barbers Museum.

Jana was but two laps from winning the final Fiddy race but was knock down by the second place guy with his poor pass attempt.
And yes...she's pretty cute... ;)

Was Charity the gal who actually went for a ride through the Gap with one of us old guys on a two-stroke?
