SOLD - Thank you all for looking at it.
My name is Gordon and I am new to this forum. I have a 1972 Kawasaki S2 350cc Two-Stroke Triple project motorcycle for sale. I would like it if some triplehead can bring it back to life. This motorcycle needs total restoration. I bought this motorcycle years ago in this condition, and I don't know its history. I had plans to restore it, but real life happened along the way and I don't have the time or space to work on it now. It is in Southern California.
I am asking $500 for this motorcycle. I haven't shipped a motorcycle before, but if you are interested, we can work it out. I have more photos but I can only post 3 now.
Valid California title in my name Non-op registration - no back DMV fees California License plate Frame and engine numbers match the title certificate
Mileage: unknown - missing tachometer and speedometer Original color is red (underside of tank)
It has several hard-to-find parts: All three undamaged mufflers. Surface rust but no rusted-through holes (But no baffles). All three complete carburetors. Fairly clean inside - no old gasoline or water gunk. Gas tank in fairly good condition. There is a dent on the left side. No left-over gasoline sludge and not too much internal rust. Petcock in excellent shape including internal fuel strainer filter Chain guard Ignition switch and key Handlebar Headlight switch and Run/Stop switch Seat Seat lock and key
Missing parts: No tachometer or tachometer cable No speedometer or speedometer cable No instrument panel No right-side engine oil pump cover No air filter housing or air inlet snorkels No rear fender No rear sprocket or chain Only one coil Left-side generator/rotor engine cover is cracked Center piston was seized and shattered
I have another S2 and KH400, as well as a Suzuki GT550 two-stroke triple that I hope to be able to restore soon. I am almost finished restoring a Honda GB350G Supersport (why? - it was complete and in pretty good shape but I have gone way overboard with it! Isn't that always the way with restorations?)
