As you know my set-up, here is what I have found out recently much to my surprise….
My tach goes WAY off as the rpm's rise, so I was never letting this bike rev much past 7500rpm in the past.
Now that I have used Gear Commander to figure out Rpm = to MPH and watching my MPH it appears the power starts at about 5500rpm and it just begins to tapper off at what I believe is about 9500rpm. (somewhere at 9000 and above)
Still hard to be totally accurate and I don't like to hit that high rpm often!
Maybe this makes sense with the info you just posted.

Yes, that's probably what happens since you also have specII

When you have Your bike for a dyno run, you will probably see the curve starts going Down at about 88-9000 rpm, then tends to rise again.
I can recommend KOSO tachs. Cheap, looks good and easy installation and spot on (digital)

When you have a ported triple, I think it is wise having a tacko you can trust.

I will look up my old fbg dynosheet, and you can have a look at the specII tuning thread for dyno sheets as well (using VM34's, NOT 38's as With them fbg's I dynoed......major difference)
