I've been trying to make CDI units for triples available that cost less than the ones with hand made stainless steel housings, but it's been difficult. I talked to many manufacturers of custom stampings, die-castings, sand castings, etc., but everything I found was cost prohibitive for the low volume of these products, even from far east manufacturers. The solution is 3-D printed housings! We're making them in-house, and so far they're available for the late H1 combined A and B CDI unit. Everything other than the housing is identical to the stainless version. They're mounted to laser cut stainless steel plates, and solidly potted in epoxy. Heat dissipation should be at least as good, because I can position the heat-generating components against the thin ABS wall without worrying about the parts shorting to the housing. The price is $109 plus actual cost shipping, and I have a couple "blems" with minor flaws I'll let go for $99 each.
