I'm kinda pricing around to see about getting some 400 cylinders decked on the top and bored .20 over. My machine shop I usually deal with don't know if they can deck the cylinders or not until I take one over for them to see. I haven't taken one over yet but will this week. I'm hoping they can do it but need to keep options open.

Anyone on here deck cylinders? If so, PM me and let's talk. I'm trying to get someone close so I don't have the cylinders all over the country. Work likely won't be performed until middle of February when I get the other cylinder work done. Thanks

Not close by, but Tim from VA sent his H-series cylinders and heads to Scott Clough Racing in CA and was pleased to say the least with the results. I plan to do the same with my S2 at some point.

Scotty is an ultra top notch kind of fellow with anything mechanical. I don't believe you will be disappointed in any way with his work, nor pricing, ethics.

I'll give a shout once I confirm the machine shop here can't do the work. I didn't talk to Denny and usually when I talk to him, he'll come through. I'll be by there tomorrow afternoon and see what he says. Anyone else give a shout. Like to hear from you.

Local to me and a full service machine shop. Tattoo Tim in the shop is a triple drag racing guy from way back, capable of boring, decking, porting, crank rebuild, transmission rebuild and undercutting, etc. Pretty much everything triple.

I asked down here but I'll be honest with ya, this guy who's doing my cylinders is taking his grand ole time getting them done. Luckily I still have plenty of other work and time yet. I wouldn't recommend him as slow as he's being. Denny's might but it would probably be pricey. I can ask if you like.

If this guy don't get these cylinders done soon, I may be hitting you up. Think he could turn them around in a couple weeks?

It's very possible, it would depend on how busy the shop is, but if you ask/beg :D , it's quite possible. Jay (the owner) is always accomodating!
