Here is something I found on another board that was interesting to me and maybe so to others. It is an LED battery voltage monitor that will easily connect to battery terminals and mount in the late triples dashboard.
LED colors change depending on battery/charging state.

It took trips to just about every source I could think of in Ottawa to find the plastic insert to mount the light into. Snaps right in.
