I remember that one, with the right down tube cut and bolted back together to clear the exhaust, and the droopy silencers. Do you know if it ever sold? Last I saw, the company that built it had listed it more than once on eBay.

I'm not a frame (or suspension, or engine, or brakes, etc.) guy, but is there any way that bolted-together frame strut will work? Looks great, though.

Looks like a smashed up soft-drink can...........! (Why does everyone use those ugly old Suzuki frames!!)

I may be in the minority here but I don't care for it personally. I do appreciate the craftsmanship of the build though. Too much use of green....

I don't like it at all...... And there are a few factory bikes that had a removable down tube.

I *think* the engine is off center, too. Other photos I've seen seemed to look that way. And one cylinder and/or head had shaved fins on the side. It was a pretty oddball creation. Wasn't the asking price something silly like 15k?

Edit: It was built by Santiago Chopper. Here's a link to an article about it. You can see the oddity with the left cylinder and maybe head fins in the 3rd photo down. If it has an FBG engine with the obligatory 40mm carbs like the article says, it might be less than optimum for the street.

so it's back again

Some mystery person dropped a "Cafe Racer" magazine in my mailbox and this bike was in there... Someone must have figured I'd appreciate the triple I guess??? Lol I asked everyone I know in the neighborhood too!
Anyway, the first thing I noticed was the offset motor, IMO that ruined the build right there! Seriously, what a hack thing to do! I suppose an offset sprocket with an outboard bearing never crossed his mind!
So many immaculate specials being built and this one makes a magazine!

Santiago Choppers is local to me. I've met him at some of the local bike build-offs. This is NOT one of my favorites either Maybe he should donate this one to a Barrett-Jackson fundraiser auction too. Seems he can't sell it
