Well my first motorcycle restore is just about complete. Everything repainted, rebuilt, rechromed, re-zinced, Polished, as well as a hole lot of NOS parts added. I tried to keep everything that was on the bike when I got her including date coded items and the plastic headlight bucket. Seriously I couldn't have done it without all of you on this site. A special thanks to Dave Singleton for the great crank work. To Ron for the motor assembly while also schooling me so I don't bother him again...haha!. RB for the perfect Decals, and Jim for the better then new CDI rebuild. To all the rest of you for answering my dumb questions. Also, the DMV wouldn't let me keep my original 70's blue license plate so I painted my new white plate blue! Take that DMV. Thanks everyone!!!

Lol! $842 was just a joke. After spending $100 on NOS grips just because they said "Made in Japan" i'm thinking its closer to $84k! Haha! Parts came from United Kingdom, Spain, Australia, Norway, Canada, tires bought and shipped from Japan. I bought and sold so many parts I don't really know what I have into it. It was fun and kept me out of the bars while building the H2.

But

The horn is on upside down  And the chain oiler is on backwards ;) But well done!!!
(The swing arm bolt is back to front as well . . . but 50% of rebuilds always are)
