The first day running!!!!
It would've been nearly impossible without this board and mraxle's site.
Thanks to everyone who answered my newbie questions and pointed me in the right direction.

73 H2a , (RB's 72 decals)
kz650 (I think) wheels, rear swingarm w/ needle bearings, rear disc, dual front
tapered steering head bearings
R&D transmission, blasted, shimmed, backcut
Porchedave crank
Jim's super regulator (no battery)
Wossner pistons
Aylor reeds, stage 1 plus porting, squish band
welded heads
Ivans carb kit
Higgspeed pipes (sorry Jim! I like the upswept look)

Thanks again everyone!!!

Just got back from first ride. I'm still taking it easy, but towards the 50 mile mark, it took it up to around 6k. It pretty much lept there I should say! I would've like to stay on it, but I'll save that for tomorrow after another break in ride. It is sMOOoooth :D !!! It really has some mid-range punch, thanks to the reeds. This thing is going to fly. Can't wait to get some more miles on and really give it a test!!!
