trying to figure out wattage on this thing. US model butmI'm in Belgium. I have a 300 watt step down inverter I picked up but not sure if this will be enough? Don't want to blow fuse, smart car no fun in snow if I did need to get one. Thanks

Holy cow, 300 watts at 14 volts is over 20 amps! A small maintenance charger shouldn't draw more than a couple watts in trickle mode, and even if it had something like a 5 amp fast mode, that would be 5x14=70 watts. Even with inefficiencies, you're way good with a 300 watt supply.

What are the specs on this "tender"?.

Output on tender is 12v and 1.25 amp. I'm new to this stuff. 240v house which I plug voltage converter into which is 110/120v rated 300 watts. Just want a charge a little battery . Sounds like I'm good though, at least I hope

Yes, (1.25 amps) x (12 volts) = 15 watts.

Thanks Jim. Going from 240 to 120 to 12v was driving me nuts. Wasn't sure which way to go. Just volts x's amps on final product output. Didn't want to blow fuse. Just got house and would hate to lose dvd player capabilities:) if I did. Stuck with phone for Internet currently. Thanks again

Things aren't 100% efficient, but it's not a bad estimate. Most devices have their power requirements on them. If they're in watts, it's simple. If they're in volts and amps, multiply those to get watts. Leave some leeway for inefficiency.
